TrueTwit 1.6.24 Released
Thursday, January 21st, 2010TrueTwit 1.6.24 is a maintenance release that contains
- a new first page that allows you to sign up for TrueTwit Premium directly
- bug fixes (Thanks to our users for your help finding these!)
- an “enhanced user experience”
TrueTwit Premium for Android Released
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010TrueTwit has released an Android app to use with your TrueTwit Premium account. This application is free for TrueTwit Premium subscribers and trialers.
TrueTwit Premium for Android gives you functionality of the “Follower Analysis” screen found in the web-version of TrueTwit Premium.
There are also options to sort and sift your followers.

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009TrueTwit has released an Android app to use with your TrueTwit Basic account. The application allows you to view your followers, view their validation status, and view the date the DM was sent. The application has some advanced views that you can select from that include: show only validated followers, show only unvalidated followers, and show all followers.

TrueTwit Premium Released
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009Today the TrueTwit team deployed a new release. We are really excited to roll out this release of TrueTwit and help our users manage their followers. Here is what is going on.
As you probably know, TrueTwit helps you manage your followers by sending direct messages to new followers asking them to validate that they are a real person. We are keeping that wildly successful service and calling it TrueTwit Basic. We have no plans at this time to change TrueTwit Basic or make it a subscription only service.
This release also contains TrueTwit Premium. TrueTwit Premium builds on the follower management in TrueTwit Basic by doing an in-depth, automated analysis of your followers and their tweets. TrueTwit Premium is a subscription service that we are charging an annual fee to use. TrueTwit Premium subscribers get the following new features:
- No automatic direct messaging of new followers.
- You can choose to auto-follow new followers that pass our follower analysis.
- Access to our Follower Analysis page which summarizes the status of your followers. A screenshot of the follower management page is below.
TrueTwit Premium costs only $20.00 per year. You can try it free for 30 days and downgrade back to TrueTwit Basic if you don’t like it. But we think you will enjoy being able to see what kind of content your followers are posting. You can cancel TrueTwit Premium at any time for a refund of your unused subscription. Current TrueTwit users don’t have to switch to TrueTwit Premium. We still plan on offering TrueTwit Basic to those folks who like the direct message to their potential followers.

Saturday, November 21st, 2009TrueTwit will be down for a spell the morning of Sunday, November 22, 2009. Shouldn’t be too long. We’re deploying a number of minor bug fixes.
TrueTwit 1.5 Upgrade Complete
Wednesday, October 7th, 2009TrueTwit has been upgraded to version 1.5. This is a bugfix release:
- Some errors in signup are fixed
- Some messsages have been improved when Twitter doesn’t respond
- Some sign-up screens have been added to make it very clear that TrueTwit sends DMs to new followers on behalf of users
